Shailesh Gulabani feels lucky to have got Bandini..

While Ali Merchant is all set to have his Nikaah with girl friend Sara Khan in the Bigg Boss house, Shailesh Gulabani has got lucky as he has now been roped in to play the role of Vishal in Imagine's Bandini.

Talking about his penchant for playing negative roles, Shailesh tells us "I am lucky to be doing two great shows on television. I am playing a very good character in Bandini. I love to play negative roles, and Vishal is one of those characters who has a grey shade. Also Raunak in Sasural Genda Phool is not fully positive; he has this ego problem and comes across as a man with attitude".

On stepping into the shoes of Ali Merchant, he states, "There is obviously nervousness when you replace an actor and especially when you are shooting your first day. I too had the same feeling.  I have worked with Ali before and we are good friends. As soon as I gave my first shot, everyone liked it and this made things easy for me".

Shailesh who is married to Ashita Dhawan of Bidaai fame says that the couple has a long way to go before thinking about extending their family. "I am a total workaholic, and Ashita has been lucky for me. We have not thought about starting a family as that is a huge responsibility. We need to spend more time together, and plan to go abroad for a trip first".
