Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has all the reasons to be the happiest person right now. After all, with his new film Jersey, he'll be back on the big screen over two years after his last appearance. After the film had been postponed earlier, fans were eagerly waiting for its release.
The film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, will star Shahid in the character of a cricketer, and he is going all out to promote it. The Batti Gul Meter Chalu actor has also been sharing breathtaking photos of himself from the Jersey promotions, which are a gift for the fans.
In the midst of everything, Shahid has once again taken to social media to showcase a series of monochromatic photos of himself. The Kabir Singh actor was seen grinning with delight in the photos. He wore a striped pattern shirt and matching trousers, which he coupled with a pair of fashionable sunglasses.
Shahid seems to be in good spirits in the photos, and it appears that he is excited for the release of Jersey next week. "Because I'm glad..." he captioned the photo.
The Padmavat actor's brother, Ishaan Khatter, was awestruck with his flair. In fact, Ishaan wrote in the comments section shortly after Shahid published the photos, "Proper handsome."
Meanwhile, when it comes to Jersey, the film is the official Bollywood remake of the Telugu sports drama of the same name, which won a National Award. Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur will also star in the film, in addition to Shahid. Jersey will be released on April 13 and will compete with Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 at the box office.
