Shahid Kapoor reveals he gets nervous to face a camera!

Shahid has repeatedly raised the bar high with his class-apart acting skills. Mastering his art of performance, his film choices have been a piece of evidence for the grace and elegance he holds. While the Udta Punjab actor has already accepted Kabir Singh as a flawed character, the film definitely traced some uncharted territories in the spectrum of love stories which proved to be a groundbreaking directorial. 

It literally roped all of India to discuss the flaws in a character like Kabir Singh and post four months, the audience still manages to talk about the character. And only Kabir Singh has managed to achieve so much of love and hatred at the same time.

As he continues to be a talking point for all the cinephiles, its massive success has left the audience wondering about Shahid’s next move. The actor took his own sweet time to confirm that he will be starring in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Jersey. It will be directed by Gowtham Tinnanauri, who also helmed the original movie.

In a recent interview, Shahid spoke about his long break after Kabir Singh and how it affected him. 

He said, "It’s great since I get to spend time with my family, Mira and kids. But having said that, after a point, you just want to get on the sets. Even if you ride a motorcycle after really long, you feel a bit nervous. So, you need to keep doing it and be on the sets.” 

He added, "Nowadays, I get nervous even if I have to go for an award function because I haven’t been in front of the camera for so long. It does make you feel a bit odd."

Shahid’s off-screen persona is always admired by his fans and being an elder brother to Ishaan Khatter, he is also supportive of him. 

While many questions have been raised owing to Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor’s relationship, the two have time and again maintained ‘good friends’ status. The fans have been wondering about Shahid’s take over Ishaan’s relationship. Shahid recently made an appearance on Neha Dhupia's show No Filter Neha and how can he escape without facing the question about Ishaan and Janhvi's relationship status!

The Kabir Singh actor was asked about one relationship advice that he would give to Ishaan and Janhvi. To which, Shahid replied, "Balance work and personal space."

Previously, in an episode of Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar asked Shahid whether the two were dating. To which, Shahid said, "Janhvi has been buzzing around him a lot."

Ishaan, however, added, "We go to the gym together, listen to music, a whole lot of south Indian music which is not my choice but I have grown to like it, watch movies and eat food."
