Shahid hops onto Mumbai local

Shahid Kapoor is quite excited with his forthcoming release "Jab We Met", an all-out romantic film with Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the story is about two diametrically different people, played by the two actors, who set out on a journey together after they miss their train.

In keeping with the theme, producers Shri Ashthavinayak Cinevision have come up with novel ways of promoting the film. They have got "Jab We Met" posters painted on the bodies of two Mumbai local trains, runing on the western and central lines. When Shahid learnt about this, he was so enthused that he expressed his wish to take a ride on one of them. After getting the necessary permission from the railway authorities, the chocolate-faced hero travelled on one of the trains over a short distance late in the night a few days back. Hope the film's box-office results add to the good memories that Shahid has from the ride. The releases film releases on October 26.
