Shaheer Sheikh: My Sister Is a Doctor and I am Proud of her

One of the most popular faces of the television industry, Shaheer Sheikh popularly known as Abeer from Yeh Rishte Hai Pyaar Ke is unfortunately away from his family amid the lockdown. 

Shaheer got candid with a leading web portal and spoke about how he is managing all the household work all by himself. The actor also revealed that his sister is a doctor and is currently posted at Jammu to treat COVID-19 affected patients. 

Speaking about how proud he is to have a sister like her, Shaheer said, "Well, people are suffering so much. I am also a daily wager but there are many people who hardly meet ends in such circumstances. The front liner warriors like doctors, police, and nurses are risking their lives to protect us. My sister is a doctor and she has been admitted to a hospital located in Jammu and she has a three years old daughter. We get worried for her but at the same time I am proud for her. We all know how dangerous the virus is and how rapidly it’s expanding. Let’s hope and pray we get out of this calamity and get back to normalcy soon.”

Well, we cannot deny that the situation is turning worse day by day but salute to all the police officers, doctors, and nurses who are doing their best amid these hard times.

Currently, Shaheer has been enjoying the re-runs of Mahabharata on Television and is busy with household work. Whatever free time the actor gets he starts writing. Let us hope things get back to normal soon and we see the actor back on the screen.
