The two most loved actors of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan share a very endearing rapport with each other and their fans have always lauded their camaraderie when they make an appearance together on award shows or public outings. While it’s been very long since the two Khan’s shared screen space together, Dabangg 3 producer Nikhil Dwivedi reveals that their professional reunion with a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film had almost happened but the project did not see the light of the day.
During the promotions of his upcoming film Dabangg 3, Nikhil told Mumbai Mirror that Shah Rukh and Salman had almost agreed to pair together in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. However, Bhansali wanted to work on the second half of the script as he wasn’t happy with it and later a dispute between Salman and the filmmaker arose regarding Inshallah and things couldn’t work out.
“Yes, it almost happened. Both SRK and SK had agreed to come together, we were excited about it. But I believe Mr. Bhansali wasn’t very happy with the second half of the script and wanted more time to work on it,” producer Nikhil Dwivedi revealed.
Further, when asked about the future possibilities of the Bhansali project with SRK and Bhaijaan, Nikhil stated that he doubts it. Well, looks like fans will have to wait longer to see the Khans together on the silver screen.
Meanwhile, Nikhil is gearing up for Dabangg 3, which releases today, on 20 December 2019. Directed by Prabhu Deva, the cop drama features Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and debutant Saiee Manjrekar.
