Shagun Sharma on Sasuraal Genda Phool 2's Jay: I thought he might have attitude but he is very down to earth

Sasuraal Genda Phool 2 hit the screens just yesterday and the reviews have sure been great so far. The show has managed to keep up with the original essence while adding more nuances to it through every character. While the primary cast returns to the show, Shagun Sharma's Titli is a new addition after Ragini Khanna's Suhana is no longer a part of the family.

India Forums spoke to Shagun and she got candid about working with the entire team and how has the experience been. About the director, and co-star Jay, she says, ''First of all I want to talk about Rakesh sir, and I think I have gotten an amazing opportunity to work with him, the way he visualizes scenes and the way he reads the script, it is next level and different from what I have been doing since I joined the industry. It is very difficult to impress him. Talking about Jay, I have too many scenes with him, and I haven't shot a lot with the family yet. Being someone who was a part of season 1 and the whole story is sort of around him, I thought he might have attitude (little) but he is very down to earth, he is very easy to talk to, to work with. Whenever I have doubts, and I get stuck in the scene, to break the pattern, I go to him and ask him you leave the scene, you help me and tell me what to do new, and if my energy is low in a scene, he is there to guide me. I think that is an amazing thing and I am lucky to have him as my co-star. He is very natural and he is flawless. ''

She adds, ''The family, on the other hand, are all very senior actors and when I shot with them, I was shivering from inside, and whenever there was a cut, everyone was like calm down, you are doing good. I don't know why I needed that validation but that did help me reduce my nervousness but then it went really well, and a very sweet cast.''

The show also features Sudhir Pandey, Ridheema Tiwari, Sooraj Thapar, Shruti Ulfat, among others in a pivotal role.
