A source closely associated with the show got in touch with us to make some shocking revelations about Shagun Pandey, the titular face of Mera Balam Thaanedar. On the condition of anonymity, the source reveals that Shagun gave a 'hard time' to the 16 year old actress and was also 'cruel' to her. Our source adds, ''Shagun would not talk to Shruti at all. Not just this, woh director ko bhi bhadkata tha against her. Makeup artists se lekar har insan ko bhadkata tha. He was very jealous of the screen time she would get. He also admitted this. He said 'television is a female dominated medium, yahan males ka kuch nahi hota.' Shruti never fought with him. I really do not know why he would not talk to her. On the top of it all, he would spread rumours too. He would tell everyone that he has taught Kashish everything, including giving interviews to the media.''

We asked the source what were the kind of 'rumours' they were talking about and they said, ''Pehle dosti tha but later he started ignoring her on and off. Scripts mein jo dialouges hote thhe wo bhi nahi karta tha uske sath. Ek bar agar usne retake liya toh sab ko bolta tha ke wo bar bar retakes leti hai. He would confuse her and he would give her a tough time. He would always keep talking about her. People would come and tell Shruti too about the same. Infact, even he said it once. He told Shruti that he often speaks to his girlfriend also about her only and that his girlfriend would get very irritated about the same.''

''Shruti would address him as 'sir,' She also confronted him on the same and asked him if he has any problems with her. She told him that she is ready to work on it if there is any sort of problem. He would not even revert to her good mornings. Wo khud baat kar na bandh kardeta tha and sabko ye bolta tha ke Shruti ne bandh kiya ha,'' the source further adds.

Revealing a shocking incident, the source reveals, ''Once, during a scene, he also pushed Shruti and later said that he did so by mistake but we strongly felt that it was on purpose. He would cry sometimes too stating that Shruti does not talk to him, all a web of lies. On Shruti's birthday, he distributed sweets to the production and on the contrary, when she was sick and was admitted in the hospital, he did not even message her to ask about her health. Everyone called her, except him. When Shruti returned on sets post her recovery, he did not even talk to her, he was this cruel.''

Opening up further, the source says, ''He would often tell her that Shruti is like a child to him and that he is very fond of her. But then very abruptly, he would stop talking to her. He did so a couple of times. Shruti was very disturbed by this and decided to confront him. She went up to him in his room and asked him the reason behind this behaviour, stating that she gets attached to him when he behaves nicely and that it hurts her when he does something like this.
