See what Shruti Haasan's has to say about NEPOTISM in the industry!

A lot has already been said about 'nepotism in the industry'. Many Bollywood celebs have expressed their opinions about the same. Filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Kangana Ranaut even got into a war of words over the issue!

And the latest name to be added to the list is Shruti Haasan. While talking about the issue, she said, "I am very proud of my surname, but my parents have never really helped me. I am the nepotistic product of anti-nepotism. In the beginning, people would say, 'Kamal Haasan aur Sarika ki beti hai'. I had to work for years to build my career. So, when people talk about nepotism, I want to tell them, 'Please go jump off a cliff'. Even if you are not from the industry, you will have that one person helping you technically, even that is nepotism." (sic)

In the same interview, the actress even said that she being the darkest person in the family, she chose not to endorse any fairness product!
