Sayli Salunkhe approached to play the female lead opposite Mohit Malik in Rajan Shahi's next for Star Plus?

Star Plus is going to come up with a new show very soon. India Forums had earlier informed its viewers about Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's producer Rajan Shahi coming up with a new show for the channel. While Mohit  Malik has been roped in as the male lead of the show, there have been quite a lot of speculations on the female lead of the show. While some reports suggest Sriti Jha will be seen in the show opposite Mohit, another suggest the names of other actresses from television too.

Well, India Forums has learnt of a new update on the show. A little birdie close to the show suggests Sayali Salunkhe, who was last seen opposite Karan Grover in Star Bharat's show 'Bahut Pyaar Karte Hain,' has been approached to play the female lead of the show. Our source says, ''Sayli has been approached to play the lead opposite Mohit and has also done the mock shoot. It will be a challenge for her to play the lead, since the character will be of a 35 year old single woman.Things are still in the pipeline.''

Talking about the story of the show, India Forums has learnt that the story will revolve around three sisters, eldest amongst who will be the titular character. It will be the story of sacrifices the eldest sister will make for her younger sisters and how amidst all of this she will find love in Mohit Malik's character. The story will be based on a Marathi background. 

We tried reaching out to Sayali for confirmation on the news however, the actress remained unavailable for any comments.
