Sayantani Ghosh and Jatin Shah in remake of 'Maa'..

We had already reported about the long running Star Jalsa show 'Maa' being remade in Hindi for Star Plus. K. Venkatesh Productions, makers of this successful show which has had a very good run with a TRP as high as 11, have recently shot a pilot for the Hindi show.

The latest is that the seasoned actress Sayantani Ghosh will be playing the mother's role. Jatin Shah has been finalized to play a pivotal role. Actors like Neena Kulkarni, Supriya Shukla will also be
part of the cast.

A little birdie states, "Sayantani and Jatin were part of the pilot that was shot. The show will go on floor once the channel gives the green signal after viewing the pilot".

Even after repeated attempts, we could not get thro' to Sayantani and Jatin.
