'Sasural Simar Ka 2' ropes in Karan Sharma as the male lead

Spin-offs and sequels have indeed been the flavor on the small screen for a long time now where the likes of Kundali Bhagya and Yeh Hai Chahatein among others continue to run while a show like Mann Kee Awaz Pratigya is coming back with a sequel.

Another show that has been popular for the right and wrong reasons is Sasural Simar Ka. The Colors show enjoyed an immensely long run and went off air three years ago.

But the sequel has been in the plans for a while now and as we have already reported, several actors have been roped in for multiple roles too. But one of the biggest casting update has now come in where the male lead of the sequel has been finalised, and that is none other than Karan Sharma.

Sharma is best known for his role in Kaala Teeka and will now play one of the male leads of the show where the other one will be played by Avinash Mukherjee.
