SaReGaMaPa from first week of July...

The wait is over now as Zee’s very popular SaReGaMaPa is finally starting with its next season. According to our well placed sources, the SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2008 will get on air from the first week of July, tentatively from 4th July, at its usual timings of 10PM..

However, the show will see some major changes in the panel of Gurus for the four Gharanas. While Himesh Reshammiya remains the only known face from the last season, Aadesh Srivastava who was a mentor in Challenge 2005 returns this season. The very popular duo of Vishal-Shekar and Ismail Durbar will be replaced by Shankar Mahadevan and Pritam. Aditya Narayan, the heart-throb of millions who debuted as the host in the previous season will again be seen anchoring the show, thus putting to rest all speculations of Aditya leaving television behind for Bollywood.

Nationwide auditions were held for this season and besides the metros, auditions took place at Guwahati, Lucknow, Indore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Ludhiana. The show being international even went for auditions ouside India like USA, Singapore, Saudi Arabia etal.
