Sanjeevani Remake: Rohit Roy is The Latest Addition to The Cast

Cult television show Sanjeevani starring Gurdeep Kohli, Mohnish Bahl, Mihir Mishra and Rupali Ganguly in lead roles was a superhit among viewers. It was a medical drama and people loved the freshness of the content as it was different from the usual saas-bahu fare. With the current trend of remaking old shows, the makers are planning to bring back everyone’s favorite 90s show Sanjeevani with a new twist.

The news of Gurdeep Kohli and Mohnish Bahl being roped in as main characters is out since long, and has kept viewers excited to know more  about the cast of the show. Well, we also reported about Naamkaran actress Sayantani Ghosh being a part of the show. Now the latest we hear is that popular actor Rohit Roy has been finalized for the show. Rohit who was last seen in Colors’ popular show Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki will be see in a pivotal role. Also actors Rashmi Singh and Rahul Chaudhary’s names are  in news for being roped in the show.

We buzzed Rohit but couldn’t reach him.

According to some media reports, the show will launch in the month of June but there is no confirmation on the reports from either the actors or producers. Even Ishqbaaz actress Surbhi Chandna has been in news and is being reported as playing the female lead in the show but the actress on several occasions has denied such rumors. If not Surbhi, then we wonder who will play the main lead of the show.
