Sanjeeda Shaikh, the new lead in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat?

We have exclusively reported about Colors popular show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat gearing up for a big Leap, for which makers have roped in Mohit Raina to play the main lead.

The latest we hear is that the channel has also approached Sanjeeda Shaikh to play the role of Kaurwaki.

Sanjeeda was last seen on Sony TV's Power Couple with her husband Aamir Ali Malik and her last fiction show was Ek Hasina Thi.

We tried contacting Sanjeeda but she didn't revert till the time of filing this story.

Mohit Raina and Sanjeeda definitely make a good pair. What say?
