It is safe to say that the entire world is aware of the havoc that a single film has created. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus film 'Padmaavat' has been a hot topic of discussion ever since its release.
The agitation of the members of Rajput Karni Sena is vocal and outrageous. They left no stone unturned to ban this film. However, to their disappointment, Supreme Court has lifted the ban on all the states and the film will thus have a healthy release.
Padmaavat was earlier clashing with Akshay Kumar's social drama film 'Pad Man' but at a press conference today Akshay revealed that he has postponed his movie for Sanjay Sir. For which, Bhansali will be grateful to the actor for a lifetime.
However, at the conference after Akshay's announcement, the media started questioning Sanjay about his views on the entire controversy lying around his film. And instantly Sanjay folded his hands and walked off without giving any answers to the media. We guess he did so because he wanted to be on a safer side and not say anything that would affect the film. This is why the cast of the film is also staying away from the media to avoid any misconstruction of words.
Looks like the makers will take a breath of relief only after the release. Padmaavat stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh, Shahid Kapoor as Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as the evil Alauddin Khilji.
Whereas about Pad Man, Akshay stated that it will be mostly releasing on 9th February which will clash with Sidharth Malhotra's Aiyaary.
