Sanjay Kapoor recalls debut film 'Prem', shares throwback pictures as he completes 32 years

With his excellent performance in Netflix's The Fame Game earlier this year, Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor made us pay attention to his presence. It seems there are more projects in the cards for the actor who has had a string of successful ventures recently.

Sanjay Kapoor took advantage of Throwback Thursday to reflect on his debut film and his tenure in the Hindi cinema industry, which was 32 years ago.

For the uninitiated, Sanjay Kapoor made his acting debut alongside Tabu in Prem. Sanjay began filming for the film in 1990, and it was released in 1995.

Sharing the throwback photos, he wrote,

"27 years of Prem , 5th May 1995 , This first picture was taken way back in 1990 our first schedule of 40 days at Seth studios , had to wait for 3 years for the next schedule in 1993 , the wait was extremely tough but I waited patiently , people called me the oldest newcomer I laughed it out." 

The Raja actor further added,

According to the latest reports, Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor will be making her Bollywood debut. Starring in Shashank Khaitaan's Bedhadak, Shanaya will be starring alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada.
