Sanjay Gagnani is very well known for his looks and charming personality, and with his skilful stints in the daily soaps, he has become a household name, but what made him the king of the audience's hearts was his power-packed performance as Prithvi Malhotra in the show Kundali Bhagya.

Recently, a horrifying incident of train derailment occurred in Odisha, which took the lives of more than 238 people and injured more than 900 others; the unhappening got Sanjay absolutely numb.

When asked about what his reaction was after listening to this, Sanjay said, "It was heartbreaking for me, and the moment I heard about this news, I went numb for a while. However, newer technologies could have averted this mishap, and as the world is progressing and also science and technology are advancing at an unbelievable speed, there should be some sort of precautions taken. Before every journey, the public transport should always get checked twice because they carry a lot of lives in them, and if such a thing happens even once, it causes a huge disruption, which is very disturbing."

Talking about providing help to the victims and their families, he said, "If I had been there, I would have given everything from my side to the people who got injured and would have tried my level best to help out the families who have lost their loved ones in this incident. And currently, as I can't visit there, I am figuring out what can be done to help them out in any manner."

Sanjay concluded his talk by putting forth his opinion about the changes that our railway ministry should come up with to stop such incidents, tells, "Nowadays, even cars have ADAS features where collisions are averted with other vehicles. What’s the use of AI and the latest technologies if we can’t avert a collision with a train carrying hundreds of people? I’m sure our country has the best scientists and engineers who could come up with an automated system for railways where such collisions could be averted, and that could have saved the lives of those hundreds who died. Also, we, as the fastest-developing nation and the largest railway network in the world, should transform and switch to trains with such technologies that have the best safety features."
