Samridhi Shukla has been winning hearts with her stint in Colors TV's show Saavi Ki Savaari. The actress essays the character of an auto driver in the show and her portrayal of the same has won her a lot of appreciation.

Samridhi got in an exclusive conversation with India Forums and the actress poured her heart out. We asked Samridhi her views on whether or not she has received recognition with her show 'Saavi Ki Savaari' and the actress said, ''Definitely. Recognition is not one of the things that I was looking for when I saw the opportunity of doing the show or any show for that matter. I don't think that's the primary concern. The primary concern is the role, the platform, the kind of responsibility of character. Importance of the character or the variation of the character, if not the importance. Recognition is something which comes along when you do TV or when you do films or anything that brings you in the public eye. Recognition is a byproduct of all of this. So definitely it happens. It has happened. It's nice to get all this recognition. But that has not been the primary reason for doing the show.''

We further asked the actress about that one thing the show has changed for her and the actress said, ''What has changed for me after the show? I think a lot of appreciation for the kind of work that people do because television industry is not easy. It's a lot of hard work and it's a lot of hard work, not just for a short period of time. I mean we are blessed. We're on the show for 8-9 months now. We're close, close to closing a year since we started the workshops and to Ujjain, but going on a roll for this amount of time, and you know the shifts are 12 hour long. So including the actors, the unit, the direction department, the production department, everyone is equally invested in the show and it's a lot of hard work, a lot of sweat and blood of a lot of people. And a lot of blessings.''

She further said, ''So my outlook has been more towards gratitude and more towards understanding that even the hairdresser that comes to me or even the makeup artist that comes to has less of a luxury than me, is bound to work and stand for hours more than me, is not given the treatment that I am given. And still they're on their toes and working all the time. So definitely this has made me, I think softer and humbler.''
