Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been a bit quiet on her social media lately, where she usually gives us a peek into her life off-screen. The Citadel: Honey Bunny star has a couple of projects in the pipeline, like Bangaram and Rakht Brahmand. In her recent Instagram story, she shared a significant health update, disclosing her battle with Chikungunya.
In the sneak peek she posted, Samantha was captured working hard at the gym. Yet, what caught our eye was the caption she wrote, opening up about grappling with joint pains while recuperating from Chikungunya. She wrote, “Recovering from Chikungunya is so fun. The joint pains and ALL.”

Just a few days ago, Samantha shared a post on her Instagram stories, setting the tone for the New Year and unveiling her goals for 2025.
Alongside that, she also posted the lyrics of a song in her caption, encapsulating her hopes for the upcoming year, “To know me is to love me; I must be the hell of a man. Oh Lord, it’s hard to be humble, but I’m doin’ the best I can.”
Samantha recently shared a post on Instagram, offering her fans a glimpse into her holiday season. The post revealed her choice to skip parties and festivities, opting instead for peaceful moments alone. The images showcased the actress catching up on rest, working out to strengthen her physique, and embracing the practice of positive affirmations.
In 2022, Samantha disclosed that she had been diagnosed with the autoimmune condition myositis. During an interview with India Today, Samantha shared about the same.
I was forced to go public about my disorder. At that time, I had my female-centric film due for release. I was very sick back then. It was hard and I wasn't ready. There were all sorts of speculation going around and misinformation being spread
