In a recent public engagement, the stunning actress unveiled the eagerly awaited official teaser for her ambitious film Shaakuntalam. Samantha, who gained buzz after disclosing her 'myositis' diagnosis, broke down in tears at the premiere of the movie's teaser and gave a moving statement thanking her followers for their unwavering support. With her savage response to a negative message, she is gaining significant attention on social media once again. 

A well-known Twitter account tweeted Samantha Ruth Prabhu's images from the Shaakuntalam trailer premiere event after they had gone viral on social media and said the actress had "lost all her charm and glow" since being diagnosed with myositis. Fans of the actress and a sizeable portion of netizens were clearly offended by the inappropriate message, and they expressed their displeasure in the comments area.

Samantha, who is undaunted by all the criticism hurled at her, retweeted the post with a message that read, "I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did... And here’s some love from me to add to your glow." 

In the film adaptation of poet Kalidasa's renowned play based on a Mahabharata tale, Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the lead role of Shakuntala, the love child of Apsara Menaka and Sage Vishwamitra. Dev Mohan, a Malayalam actor, makes his Telugu film debut in this one as King Dushyanta, Shakuntala's estranged spouse.
