Samantha Ruth Prabhu's foray into production with "Subham" is gaining momentum. Directed by Praveen Kandregula of Cinemabandi fame, the Telugu horror-comedy features a fresh cast including Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud.

The recently released teaser offers a glimpse into the quirky storyline, centered around a newlywed couple. On their wedding night, the groom, a quiet and mild-mannered man, is thrown off guard by his bride's unusual obsession with a TV show, leading to a surprising horror-comedy twist. Ahead of the film's release on May 9th, Samantha sought blessings at the Tirupati Balaji Temple, accompanied by filmmaker Raj Nidimoru.

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Samantha has reunited with the creative duo Raj and DK for "Rakht Brahmand," a fantasy drama directed by Tumbbad's Rahi Anil Barve. This exciting project further showcases her diverse range as an actress and her willingness to explore new genres.
