Saina Trailer Out: Parineeti showcases journey of Badminton legend

Little did one expect that a poster of an upcoming film will create a stir - for all the wrong reasons. When the poster of Saina Nehwal's biopic - Saina was out a few days ago, it invited a lot of flak where some mentioned how the hand pose with shuttle cock in the air seemed like one from the tennis world thus making it inappropriate.

Nevertheless, this is all in the past now and after a poster and teaser, the full trailer of the film starring Parineeti Chopra playing the titular character has come out and immediately caught attention.

The almost three minute trailer showcases the aspiration of a little girl who, unlike many other stories - received tremendous support from her parents throughout her life. The trailer has patent tropes of a biopic and might not offer too much from the looks of it-

Chopra did not receive good reviews for her performance or the film, The Girl on the Train on Netflix. Suddenly, she once again has not one but two back-to-back releases in the form of Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar and Saina. We will have to wait and see if she continues to shine.
