Sai Ketan Rao on chemistry with Shivangi in Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali: The key element is communication

Sai Ketan Rao spoke to India Forums about what he thinks helps him and Shivangi Khedekar in building up the chemistry they have pulled off. Here's what the actor had to say.

Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali on Star Plus has been constantly garnering a lot of love from the fans and with the story of Raghav and Pallavi moving forward, there only seem to come along a bunch of highlights, twists, and turns. One of the key elements that have been received well by the fans is Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar's chemistry on-scree. The two have managed to win their fans over and how.

While talking to India Forums, Sai got talking about how does the duo brings alive the chemistry on-screen. He said, ''We rehearse 2-3 times before taking the finale take, and even before the camera is set up, we improvise a bit and discuss what I can do and what she can do, the way we can do it, so we speak to each other. The basic key element is the communication between the actors, both of us communicate with each other and that's how the chemistry is built up and that is exactly how it is exported on the camera.''

As for the show, it is currently witnessing a lot of high-voltage drama with the equation between Pallavi and Raghav about to change given the truth about Mandar's death. In an interview with us earlier, Shivangi had revealed how the viewers are going to get the answers to their questions in everything that happens this month and it looks like, the same has already begun.

Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar share an amazing screen presence. They don't even need dialogues in their interactions because their eyes speak volumes. I have seen such an amazing on screen pair after what seems like the longest time on TV.

Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar (our beloved SaiShi) have such organic and natural chemistry, that they just have to be in a frame together and the rest takes care of itself. We will love to see you together in more projects.
Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali is such a success in terms of breaking many decades old molds of how the characters and stories should be; it's a welcome breath of fresh air and we can't get enough of our Raghvi.
