#SahiHai: When Zoya turned out to be an eye-opener about human behaviour in 'Bepannaah'

The comparison drawn between human behaviour and that of animals has been rightly highlighted.

Bepannaah on Colors has been receiving rave reviews ever since the time of its inception, and looks like there viewers will never get enough of it. The Harshad Chopda - Jennifer Winget starrer has come into the limelight with the concept, the chemistry that the duo share, and of course the entire presentation of the show.
Recently, we spotted a rather philosophical moment in yesterday's episode.

The scene:

In the episode, the show talked about human behaviour. While Zoya and Aditya are stuck in the jungles, they are caught off guard by a tiger. And, it is then that Zoya puts some of her skills to use as she drives the beast away by flashing the torchlight from the phone at it.

She then explores Aditya how she has been taught to deal with such situations since she was a kid, as in Mussoorie, there were wild animals moving around wide open in day light and they had to deal with it.

The entire situation makes Zoya ponder upon how there is so much that the human beings are running after. Here, she was quoted saying, "Insaan ke samne jaanwar kya cheez hai? Insaan itna khud garz hota hai ki apne fayede ke liye kisi bhi hadd tak ja sakta hai!"

What we liked:

While we as human beings don't realise the hurt and the harm that we are causing to other people, knowingly or unknowingly, there are certain ways that we do turn to just so that things are in our favour.

Zoya, as a person is shown to be docile and the innocent one in the show, and these thoughts did in fact turned out to be a reflection of the maturity and the kind of understanding that she possesses.

For a daily soap to touch upon such topics is more of what we need. While there are shows that do focus on bringing about awareness and spreading a word on what not everyone knows of!

The backdrop of a jungle did also set the right mood for the conversation, doesn't it?
