Sagar Parekh opens up on his stint in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa post Anupamaa

Sagar Parekh, who gained prominence with his portrayal of Samar in Star Plus' hit series 'Anupamaa,' recently bid farewell to the show as his storyline concluded. Initially, there were speculations about the actor being approached for Sony TV's renowned dance reality show, 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,' but nothing materialized. However, recent reports indicate that Sagar Parekh is now set to join the show as a wild card contestant.

As per information from Telly Chakkar, Sagar Parekh is gearing up to make an entry into 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' as a wild card contestant. Confirming this news to Times Of India, Sagar expressed his readiness to be a part of the show. Following the culmination of his stint in 'Anupamaa,' Sagar disclosed that he had auditioned for various web and television projects, but none materialized. He shared that a particular web show's script required him to engage in on-screen intimacy, something he wasn't comfortable with, leading to his decision to opt-out.

Addressing the possibility of his character's revival in 'Anupamaa,' Sagar mentioned that he is unaware of such plans. He left the show on a positive note, expressing his openness to a revival if the makers choose to explore it. However, his current focus is on participating in 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.'
