Sad demise on the sets of Naaginn

A very tragic incident struck the sets of Naaginn on 8^th April when a unit member Ramnivas Yadav (Carpenter) was hit and run by a truck in the busy street of Chandivali area around 5 in the evening. He died on the spot. Nobody even realized that he was missing until somebody reported that a blood smeared body was thrown across the road. Later they came to know that he was unit member of Naaginn.

The team of Naaginn was shooting the shaadi sequence of Amrita and Arjun Aka Shayantani Ghosh and Sachin Shroff when the incident occurred. Talking about the incident Shayantani Ghosh says, “It was really shocking for us as we were about to start the shoot for a new sequence and Ramnivas had gone to bring something for the shoot. We had to resume shoot because we had to meet the telecast dates. On a busy road like Chandivali, during peak hours if something like this happens it’s so unpleasant. I don’t know about the rest, but I personally feel that all of us should contribute some amount and help his family. Something like this also happened during my shoot in Ghar Ek Sapna.”

The unit has decided to pay a tribute to him by dedicating one episode in his name, since he has been working with the production house for the last 15 years.
