The docu-drama on the life of the God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar, Sachin: A billion dreams has released worldwide and is garnering appreciation from all quarters. Midst all the applause, false rumors of Sachin demanding a heavy amount of 30-40 crores as fee started making the rounds. However, the spokesperson of the project has clarified on the issue, putting a rest to all the allegations.

Clearing the air, the spokesperson of the movie said, "The suggestion on Sachin Tendulkar's fee for Sachin A Billion Dreams is incorrect and grossly overstated. Sachin has completely backed this project which has resulted in creation of a commercially viable genre of docu-drama for the Indian film industry." Spokesperson, Sachin: A Billion Dreams."

Sachin: A billion dreams, written and directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions, received a blockbuster opening at the box office.
