According to our source, "The show will basically be like Malgudi Days. A huge investment has been made to erect the sets, and all the characters seen in the show will be seen in a getup typical of villagers".

The show is supposed to be an adaptation of Late Sharad Joshi's works. "The main cast of the show includes Sucheta Pawase, Seetaram, Vineet Kumar, Sanjay Mishra, Rohitashv Gaur, Shubangi Gokhale. Abbas Khan who is presently seen in COLORS' Bhagyavidhaata will play the male lead. The female lead has not been finalized yet".

The show will go on floors on the 19th of September. If the buzz is to be believed, popular actor Varun Badola might be roped in to write few episodes of the show.

We called up Abbas Khan who confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I play a guy who has been trying to become a lawyer for ten years now. He is fondly called 'Bijee' Pandey on the show".

According to our source, "The female lead will be a dumb girl, living in Lapata Gunj. Bijee Pandey is the only person who can understand what the girl needs to convey. They will have a love story as the track goes on".

We tried calling Ashvini Dheer, but he remained unavailable for comments.
