Rupal Patel to begin shooting for SNS prequel 'Tera Mera Saath Rahe'

With so many speculations surrounding actor Rupal Patel lately, the biggest one was if the actor is indeed a part of the touted-SNS prequel and if so, when will she begin shooting for it. 

All that can definitely be put to rest as Patel is all set to begin shooting for Tera Mera Saath Rahe, the supposed prequel to Saath Nibhana Saathiya. One of the primary reasons of Patel not being a part of the show included the fact that she was hospitalized recently and was facing health woes. 

But it is sealed that she has recovered now and and will begin shooting for the show in a couple of days. In fact, she shot for a promo with Giaa Manek – the original Gopi Bahu in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya – yesterday and will commence the shoot in a couple of days.

Patel's secretary confirmed the same with ETimes TV saying, “Yes, everything has fallen into place and she is a part of the show. She will commence the shoot in a day or two.”

Producer Ved Raj was one of the writers of the original edition of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. He has worked on a new script but has retained certain elements, including a few members from the original cast.
