"Rumors should be taken lightly" : Roopal Tyagi

With the growing popularity, our Telly celebs have to come across many rumors. Our Wednesday column focuses on the celebs who have heard some of the craziest rumors against themselves and their reaction on the rumors. This week we got in touch with Roopal Tyagi who plays Gunjan in Zee TV's popular show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.

Here's Roopal sharing her reaction towards the craziest rumor she has heard about herself.

Roopal laughingly says that the craziest rumor which was published in a local newspaper was that she was quitting the show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, "The craziest rumor I have ever heard about myself was that I am quitting the show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. It was published by some of the local newspapers and even some big newspapers in Bangalore had carried the news. My parents read the news and my dad called me to ask why I am quitting the show. I told me that it's just a rumor and I am not quitting it. Both of us just laughed over it."

If the person behind spreading such a rumor against Roopal if ever comes in front of her then how would she react to it? Roopal says, "I am not quitting the show and even if you want me to quit, I won't quit the show. So, your dream won't come true."

Roopal feels that rumors should be taken lightly, "Being a celebrity, one must just read and laugh over such kinds of rumors because we can't stop people from talking. So, it should be taken lightly."

Talking about the reaction when she looks back to the rumor Roopal states, "There wasn't any such reaction; I am very much shooting for the show. My fans sent me lots of mails that they won't watch the show if I would quit. I felt loved and then I posted clarifying about this rumor that I am not quitting the show. They felt happy and relaxed afterwards. It's because of this rumor; I get to know that how much people love me and my character."
