RRR fame Jr NTR tests positive for Covid-19; says “My family & I have isolated ourselves”

South star Jr NTR on Monday announced testing positive for the novel Coronavirus and requested the people who came in contact with him recently to get themselves tested. The RRR actor also shared an update about his health and shared that he and his family members have isolated themselves at home and are under the supervision of doctors.

"I’ve tested positive for Covid19. Plz don’t worry,I’m doing absolutely fine. My family & I have isolated ourselves & we’re following all protocols under the supervision of doctors. I request those who’ve come into contact with me over the last few days to pl get tested. Stay safe", Jr NTR wrote in a Tweet on Monday.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jr NTR is currently waiting for the release of SS Rajamouli’s upcoming Telugu film RRR. It marks the collaboration of Ram Charan and Jr NTR wherein they are rumoured to play brothers in the movie. Furthermore, the film also stars, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran and Samuthirakani, among others.

The film is a period drama like never before, a fictional take on the younger days of celebrated freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. 

Produced by DVV Danayya, RRR is directed by India's most celebrated filmmaker SS Rajamouli and is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and several other Indian languages.

The much-awaited Pan-India film will have a worldwide release on October 13, 2021, on the festive occasion of Dussehra.
