Roop Durgapal: I am happy with my first experience of singing in Indonesia

Roop Durgapal, who is currently in Jakarta has just sung a song in their language and she went on to give out some details on the same, her love for singing and the entire process in an interview with India Forums. Have a look at the conversation with the actress here:

Do you enjoy singing?

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE singing. Singing is like meditation to me.

How did this song come to you?

Since I have a massive following in Indonesian due to 4 of my TV shows being very popular here, the fans must have either asked for it or the channel noticed my singing, this time they asked me to sing a song in Jawanese. I happily agreed to it as I cant miss any opportunity to sing.

This is a different language, was it difficult ?

Not at all difficult as the musicians were teaching me & helping with pronunciation too. I sang it in two different scales. And I was glad when the recording team loved my voice & applauded me for learning it quickly & singing well. So I am happy with my first experience of singing in Indonesia.

Are you a trained singer?

I am not a trained singer but I am an extremely passionate one & I do my riyaz regularly. I also do covers on YouTube & now intend to sing originals as well.
