Happy Birthday, Rishi Kapoor! Long live the legend!

Coherent Indian directors have surged the quality of cinema in this ever-evolving society. While actors struggled to please the audience amidst the wrecked Indian society suffering through the slashes of economic instability, many Bollywood heroes tried to narrate hum-drum life sought from reality itself.

Amid the distorted frame of Indian society, the audience finally saw the birth of Rishi Kapoor - a handsome young boy who hypnotized the audience with his suave looks and performance. Apart from making noise through his films, he vowed to disseminate goodwill for fellow Indians with his twitter handle.

Appearance in Unconventional Cinema

The actor moulded himself according to the ever-transforming society. One such episode which gradually formed its roots was 'expression of love'. It's evident how the Bollywood audience is heavily inspired by films around them and considering the orthodox Indian society, expression of love was definitely ‘taboo’.

Hitherto, the film industry saw a disappointing phase that drowned the quality of content under the banner of cinematic liberty. The long struggle to conceive meaningful films on Indian soil gradually eroded to form Entertainment based cinema. And suddenly, every individual desired to see life from the prism of films which only reflected the colourful reality.

"Hindustan mein jab tak cinema hai ... log chu***e bante rahenge."

(In India until cinema is there ... people will keep becoming fools.)

- Tigmanshu Dhulia (Gangs Of Wasseypur)

Somehow, Rishi negated the thought process which has been echoing since ages.

He indulged the audience with his back to back classics. Rishi offered films way ahead of its time and today we see the aftermath of the movement adopted by him.

Performing as a child artist in Mera Naam Joker, young Rishi was a part of a revolutionary cinema that changed the face of Bollywood. The onset of his journey saw many great achievements thereby creating a massive stir in Indian society and the box office numbers. Leading several Bollywood classics up until the 2000s, his career screamed at the top of its voice with Bobby (1973), Laila Majnu (1976), Rafoo Chakkar (1975), Sargam (1979), Karz (1980), Prem Rog (1982), Nagina (1986), Honeymoon (1992), Chandni (1989), Heena (1991) and Bol Radha Bol (1992).

Impacting Audience with powerful Tweets

The inception of Social Media saw a number of powerful turn of events. And again Rishi Kapoor denied reserving a back seat for himself. He finally saw the opportunity to take a stand for his fellow Indian brothers and voice out his opinions and love for his motherland. While Rishi went on to voice his opinions, he also witnessed the repercussions of his actions and the fans saw a massive upsurge throughout the years. But he never waived off from making his opinions public!

Criticizing the ruling government and knocking the closed doors; check out these revolutionary tweets that changed the audience's perspective:
