KWK 8: Neetu Kapoor reveals Rishi Kapoor's strict rules during dating: 'No parties, just come home'

Neetu Kapoor graced the latest episode of Karan Johar's Koffee with Karan 8, alongside Zeenat Aman. On the couch, she reminisced about the early days of her career and the influence of her "strict" boyfriend, Rishi Kapoor.

Sharing glimpses of the past, Neetu revealed, "We had a fabulous time, especially with Yash ji (Chopra). We would party in the night, play antakshari, play dumb charades. So, that was like one picnic. That was really, really fun."

However, she disclosed that Rishi was a 'strict boyfriend,' discouraging her from partying. 

She said, "I never partied-partied because he was always like, yeh nahi karna, woh nahi karna, ghar aajao (don't do this, don't do that, come home). So, I’ve never seen that wild side of partying in those days."

Neetu admitted to being torn between her strict mother and Rishi during her commitment to both. Speaking about their challenging time in New York during Rishi's cancer treatment, she emphasized focusing on the positive aspects of their relationship. "For me, I don't like to remember the sad part. I like to remember the good part of our relationship and our time in New York. So New York was very sad, but we had the best year. I had the best year of my life," she shared.

Reflecting on Rishi's transformation in expressing emotions, she mentioned his newfound affection during their time in New York. In a rapid-fire round, when asked what she wants her son Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to adopt from her marriage, she responded with 'nothing,' acknowledging the evolving nature of each generation.
