Ridhi Dogra in DJ's next on Star Plus

After the successful launch of Baat Hamari Pakki Hai on Sony, DJ's Creative Unit is coming up with a daily prime time show on Star Plus.

According to our source, "DJ's new show is tentatively titled Brahma. It's a family drama which involves three generations of the house. Veteran actor Arun Bali will play the patriarch of the family. His is a positive character who thinks right for the family."

The source says,"The main lead of the show will be the grandson of the house for which Rakesh Bapat (last seen in Sony's seven) and Karan Hukku (last seen in Star One's Hum Dono Hain Alag Alag) have been shortlisted. Ridhi Dogra (last seen in Colors' Laagi Tujhse Lagan) will be playing the bahu of the family. If all goes well with Rakesh, he and Riddhi will be seen as an onscreen couple."

When contacted, Karan Hukku confirmed the news but refused to divulge any details.

We tried contacting Ridhi Dogra, Rakesh Bapat and producer Tony Singh. All three remained unavailable for comments.

The show will go on floors by July.
