Remo bets we'll see his special dance!

Choreographer Remo D’Souza who recently broke his leg, cheerfully bets we will get to see him dance soon…

One of three choreographers of Zee's Dance India Dance, Remo D'Souza recently banged his scooter (with choreographer Geeta Kapoor in the sidecar) and ended up fracturing his leg! But this has done nothing to deteriorate his enthusiasm and cheer.

Remo says, "The biggest nightmare for any performer is when he meets with an accident and he gets to hear that he has broken his leg. But thankfully, when the X-ray was taken the doctors found that despite the multiple fractures, the injury is not serious and soon my leg will get back into old shape."

The choreographer cum mentor just has to follow the doctor's instructions properly to get back to his awesome moves. Remo says, "My leg will be in the cast for six more weeks. Once the cast is permanently removed I will have to visit the physiotherapist for a month and then I can get back to my dancing!"

Remo mentions Geeta who also got injured. He says, "Geeta's back got injured. But all is well with her now." He adds, "Even Terrence who came down with typhoid has been discharged from the hospital. He's resting in his room."

How does this affect their participation in the show? Remo says, "It doesn't affect much. We are needed to judge the auditions for now and not jiggy with them. And when the time comes for us to perform, we will be ready."

So does it mean we will get to see Remo doing a special performance on Dance India Dance? "Yes, you will!" signs off Remo.

Oh yes, we wish too!
