"Reality television is a genre of television programming which presents purportedly unscripted dramatic or humorous situations, documents actual events, and features ordinary people instead of professional actors."

Well, the meaning of 'Reality Shows' has changed over the years as we have twisted and turned reality shows to suit us now! The more celebrities they rope in, more are the chances of the show raking high TRPs. We are in an era now where even before one reality show ends, there appears a list of new reality shows to take over!! But how much of beneficial or adverse affects do the innumerable reality shows have on the celebrities/participants? Let us hear it from the actors who are part of some or the other reality show right now!!

Spare a thought and think - Who is actually responsible for such reality shows, the actors who are taking up such shows or the audience who wants to see their actors 24X7 or is it the rat race among all the channels to surge ahead?

Let’s get to the depth of this and take views of actors and see what they have to say on the whole issue...

Chaitanya Choudhary:

Your take on the stress and competition in the reality show you are in: Actually it is a bit tough because I shoot for my serial Sangam almost for 12 hours a day and then I rehearse for my reality show Zara Nach Ke Dikha for around 3 hours. I then spend few hours for my technicals; at the end of the day, I get to sleep for approximately 4 hours!!

Any particular incident that made you physically or mentally tired: This is my first reality show and working for Sangam too at the same time has aggravated my upper back problem. I do get mentally drained out running from one shoot to another.
