Well, in a candid chat with Vibhu, we learn that Vibhu is his nickname and he has a reason to switch to using his nickname frequently over his real name. So, read on to know more about this interesting tale behind Vibhu's name...

Vibhu shares with us, "The formal name on my passport is Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghav which is such a long name to write and whenever I was travelling, I had to fill the immigration form and that doesn't allow me to write my full name on it. The big problem that I used to face is when I needed to match my name with my passport. Another problem I started facing was the time when I went to the US before I became an actor. People in the US used to find it really difficult to pronounce my name. they used to take 30 seconds just to read my name so I started using my nickname Vibhu. The meaning of Vibhu is Lord Shiva and I thank my Mom for giving me such a beautiful nickname. It has made my life easier."

"Later, when I shifted to Mumbai and decided to become an actor, I thought it's a unique name for an actor as none of the actors with this name in the industry exists, and also I felt that it would be a cool name for the screen. Now everyone knows me as Vibhu and if anyone screams Vibhu, then I know that it has to be me," added Vibhu.

"The only thing which doesn't work well with this name is that whenever I am expecting my cheque, people make the cheque in the name of Vibhu and I have to get it changed, but it's great to have two names," smiles and concludes Vibhu.
