Ravindra Jain passes away

Veteran music director and lyricist Ravindra Jain breathed his last today. He was was suffering from a urinary infection causing a problem in his kidney. The 71-year-old music composer was undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Ravindra Jain had been unwell for quite some time now. However, to fulfill his prior commitment for a programme he went Nagpur last weekend even after being ill. But, owing to his deterioating condition he could not participate and had to be airlifted back to Mumbai at Lilavati Hospital where he was being treated.

Today, at around 4:10 pm he left for heavenly abode.

We pray for the departed soul to rest in peace and God grant eternal courage to the family to bear the loss.
