Ravi Dubey saves time, takes a Mumbai Local!!!

TV and Bollywood stars are known to act pricey. There are numerous instances where celebs have thrown their weight around and demanded things that the common man can only imagine in their wildest dreams! 

Although it may come across as a surprise to many, there are certain occasions where starry celebs choose to be practical, either to save time or for preparing for their next role, or to show their kids how most people travel.

There have been instances where some stars have no qualms about behaving like the common man. One such actor in the television industry is the handsome Jamai Raja aka Ravi Dubey who boarded a local train in order to find a narrow escape from a terrible traffic congestion! 

Sharing his experience, Ravi said, "I used to travel in trains during my teenage. I studied at K J Somaiya College in Ghatkopar and I had to change 2 trains to reach back then. Now that I am an actor, the frequency is less but I do prefer trains for my convenience. This particular instance occurred when I was in Naigaon and there was a terrible traffic jam. I had to reach for my rehearsals in Andheri and sitting comfortably in my Jaguar would in no way make me reach on time. Public transports are facilities provided by the government and when I had a resource in front of me, I'd rather take that up! I think people will respect me more if I respect their and my time...

In the train, there were 2 men who were visibly surprised and their expressions questioned if actors get paid well or not? It was funny but then I spend half an hour to 45 minutes chatting with them and heard things about their life. It was a one-of-a-kind experience and a wise decision. Truly amazing and completely worth it!"
