Ravi Bhatia and Benezir Sheikh in Shappat!

B.P. Singh's new venture on Star Desh will be a thriller series titled Shappat. But unlike CID, the show will have a story which will go on for 15- 20 episodes. Names like Hasan Zaidi, Madhura Naik, Harsh Chhaya, Piyush Sachdev and Ritu Raj Singh will carry the show on their shoulders.

A source says, "Ravi Bhatia last seen on Colors' Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka will be featuring in one of the episodes of the show. Along with him, Benezir Sheikh will make her debut on the small screen and will be paired opposite Ravi. The show is loosely based on the concept of CID but will be different in its appearance."

All our efforts to reach Benezir Sheikh went in vain whereas Ravi Bhatia stated, "Things are in the pipeline but I really can't divulge any details."

After his longest running successful show CID, B.P. Singh's new venture definitely leaves our expectations high up in the air...
