Rashmi Sharma's 'Tawaif' changes hands from Colors to Star Plus

The news about the launch of a new show on Colors by producer Rashmi Sharma which is about the life of a sex worker has been doing the rounds for quite some time now.

However, in the latest development suggests that the show will now be airing on Star Plus rather than Colors.

Yes! That's right. While Hina Khan was the name that was touted to play the lead, actress Mahhi Vij was also approached for the same too.  

And now, actress Deepshikha Nagpal has also been approached to be a part of the show to play one of the important characters.

We tried calling Deepshikha, but she remained unavailable for comment.
