Rashmi Sharma's next - 'Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi' on Star Plus..

After the successful run of Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat on Star Plus, Rashmi Sharma's Sunrise Productions is coming up with yet another daily prime time show on the same channel!!

According to our source, "The show is more or less based on the concept of generation gap that prevails in the society between the elder generation and the younger lot. And aptly, the show is tentatively titled 'Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi'".

"The story is about a family which is headed by the grand mother (Baa) who has a son and a daughter. In turn, they have their kids who have a different approach to leading life. In other words, the show will focus on the differing attitudes and life styles of the younger generation when compared to their elders", adds our source.

The cast of the show is more or less finalized. "A new guy Krip in all likelihood will be finalized to play the male lead. Ada who was seen in Sony's Palampur Express as Pavni's close friend, Vigya Mishra has also been more or less  finalized to play the female lead in the show", informs our source.

The shoot of the show is expected to start from the second week of September. The show will be launching sometime in October, at a prime time slot between 8 PM to 11 PM.

We tried calling Rashmi Sharma for a confirmation, but she remained unavailable.

We could not get any revert from the channel authorities too on the same.

Rashmi Sharma is currently producing Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chaaon Mein for NDTV Imagine, in addition to the ongoing Star Plus show, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat.
