Following Shefali Jariwala's death, Rashami Desai shared a video on her Instagram Story, telling her fans that she has been feeling "a little heavy" recently as she is being judged for no reason. The Bigg Boss star mentioned that she is dealing with her issues, which is why she isn’t aware of what’s going on in her loved ones’ lives.
Rashami Desai in the video, said, Hi guys, it’s been very unfortunate as I’m going through a lot since the last one week. I don’t know why I’m doing this, I just felt like sharing my feelings with you guys. My health concerns are also there, but casualties are also happening, and a questionable situation is there. I’m also facing a lot of judgments for no reason, and I don’t understand why.
She further shared, I am questioning myself why people around me are going through so much, and I’m not aware of it. Do you also face this — where people you know, or people who are very close to you, are going through something and you’re not aware of it because you have your own struggles?

Rashami revealed that she has been facing numerous challenges this past week. She also noted that those around her are dealing with their own issues, but she is finding it difficult to remain supportive due to her personal struggles.
Shefali Jariwala’s family and defended Parag Tyagi after some social media users criticized him for walking their pet dog Simba while holding his wife’s photo.
Rashami shared a screenshot of Parag walking their dog, whom Shefali was very close to. Taking to her Instagram story, she wrote, “Arreee bhaiya, let’s spread kindness and compassion instead of judgment! Simba was more than just a pet – he was Shefali’s beloved son. Her sudden passing leaves a huge void, and I urge the media to respect the family’s grief and give them space during this difficult time. Let’s show empathy and understanding, not sensationalism (sic)."
In terms of work, Rashami Desai's most recent appearance was in the Gujarati film, Mom Tane Nai Samjay.
