Rashami Desai Reflects on Her Bond with Sidharth Shukla: From Disagreements to Mutual Respect

Rashami Desai recently recalled her complex equation with the late actor Sidharth Shukla, highlighting their struggles and moments of mutual respect. While speaking to Bharti Singh on her podcast, Rashami shared that their relationship during Dil Se Dil Tak was not smooth. The two had differences, leading to a phase where they didn’t talk for about nine months.

Discussing their time on Bigg Boss 13, Rashami admitted that their disagreements were intense, often leading to heated arguments. However, she clarified that despite their personal issues, they maintained professionalism while working together. She acknowledged that things between them had turned bitter, but that didn't mean Sidharth was a bad person.

Rashami further spoke about how 2018 was a tough phase in her life, and Sidharth was aware of her struggles. She shared a heartfelt moment from Bigg Boss 13’s family week, where Sidharth quietly offered her water. “Usne chup chaap paani diya tha, bina kuch bole. Kabhi kabhi bina baat kiye bhi bohot kuch keh diya jata hai,” she recalled. This gesture, though small, meant a lot to her, as it showed an unspoken understanding between them.

She also talked about Sidharth’s love for kids, mentioning how he would play with her niece when she visited the set. “Mere parivaar se uska accha connection tha. Maine kabhi usse roka nahi,” she said. Despite their differences, Rashami appreciated the warmth he showed toward her family.

Rashami concluded by saying that there were many things she never spoke about then and doesn’t feel the need to now. “Bas kyunki hum nahi bante the, iska matlab yeh nahi ki woh bura insaan tha,” she stated. She admitted that at one point, she felt completely helpless, but she never doubted Sidharth’s kindness.
