Rashami Desai: I don't like to restrict myself as a TV, film or web actress

Rashami Desai, has to her credits a bunch of projects and has managed to win hearts every single time. The actress was recently seen in Tandoor alongside Tanuj Virwani and has been receiving a lot of love for her role of Palak. In one of her recent interviews with easterneye.biz, she got talking about what she wants to focus on and if she would be open to playing villainous roles.

Ask her what does she want to focus on next, and she said how she started her career with regional films and then moved on to television and also web series. She says she does not want to restrict herself as a TV, film, or web actress and that she is just an actress. She said that she wishes to work on whatever she likes, which could be a project or a role, and the purpose is to prepare for something new. 

She mentioned further how she also has her own dreams to play different characters and meet different people and has an urge to know more about the world and play realistic characters. She added how she is looking to do that be selective.

About playing a nasty villain, she said that she has played villainous and grey shades but she has also played loveable characters. However, she did mention how she does prefer grey characters because that is connected to reality and the world is grey, so she does not like perfect characters but she does learn from them. She drew a comparison with the real world where one learns from their mistakes and then make sure you don't repeat them, hence, she wishes to work with realistic roles across various spaces.
