Ranveer JUMPS in to PROTECT Deepika as they get MOBBED

Media and fans were eagerly waiting outside the airport since last night to catch a glimpse of B-town's most adorable couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The duo who tied the knot on November 14th and 15th at Lake Como, Italy, returned India this morning.

The moment the newlyweds stepped out of the exit gate fans went crazy. Despite heavy security, they got mobbed.

At that instant moment, when Ranveer realized that the crowd is going crazy and his darling wifey Deepika was getting pushed, like a bodyguard, he instantly jumped ahead of her and requested everyone to please give them some space to walk freely and not to push and pull them.

He also promised them to give them pictures if they stopped their pushing and pulling.

And as promised, DeepVeer posed for the papz and the fans before heading home.
