He went on to say he liked Alia's performance in the film.

The Tamasha actor expressed,

"I really enjoyed Rocket Boys. Among movies, I watched Gangubai. Alia just whacked it out of the park. So proud of her. And I've seen how much she gave to that film in the process of making it. She deserves every bit of success that is coming her way. Every bit of love that is coming her way. I have been dying to see RRR. Haven't got the time as I have been busy shooting. I loved 83. I'm watching everything that's out there."

Recently, lovebirds Alia and Ranbir were in Varanasi for the last schedule of their film Brahmastra. After the filming was wrapped, Alia took to her social media account and shared a few pictures of Benaras captioning "Its a wrap".

On the work front, Alia has many projects in her kitty. She has a cameo role in RRR, which is currently smashing it at the box office. She will also be a part of Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Jee Le Zaraa. Ranbir, on the other hand, has Shamshera and Animal lined up for the year.
