Ranbir Kapoor summoned in Mahadev betting scandal: Reports

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate. On a recent development, popular Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has been issued a summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), set for October 6, as part of their ongoing investigation into an online betting case. This case has put several Bollywood actors and singers in the spotlight, all of whom are now under the scrutiny of the probe agency for their suspected involvement in the Mahadev online betting case.

The ED is not only delving into the alleged connections between these celebrities and the betting platform but also investigating their attendance at the wedding and success party of Mahadev app promoter Sourabh Chandrakar, held in the United Arab Emirates in February of this year.

Ranbir Kapoor is just one name on a list that includes at least 15 to 20 other prominent celebrities, such as Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Azgar, Vishal Dadlani, Tiger Shroff, Neha Kakkar, Elli Avram, Bharti Singh, Sunny Leone, Bhagyashree, Pulkit, Kirti Khabanda, Nushrat Bharucha, and Krishna Abhishek, all of whom are now subjects of ED's investigation.

The central investigative agency has conducted searches in various cities across India, including Kolkata, Bhopal, and Mumbai, as part of their efforts to uncover alleged money laundering networks linked to the Mahadev Online Book App. This betting platform, headquartered in the UAE, is at the center of the controversy, with accusations of large-scale hawala operations being used to funnel betting proceeds into offshore accounts
